Final Approach
Hi group,
I will be leaving probably on Sunday morning of this weekend heading towards FL. Was it ever decided for certain; POTLUCK in building or outside? I just wanted to be clear on this for Saturday.
Steve, I am still on site # 160.
Safe travels to all and
HAPPY NEW YEAR

We're planning on leaving Sunday too. Everybody think dry roads...
Count us in for a picture Michelle. Thank you for coordinating this for us.
Oh are we all pitching in for the extra site for "headquarters?" Devoman would you be in charge of collecting that?
If by any chance weather is incliment, or we want light, perhaps we can tote our wares down to the clubhouse for pot luck (music central?)
Perhaps we can have a central message board in case I can't trace your whereabouts. (nice try )

We are leaving Tuesday morning taking it nice and easy. We'll stay somewhere along the way Tue. night(probably at Lake Lowndes State Park). Does anyone know what Hwy 45 south is like? We were thinking taking hwy 72 or 178 to hwy 45 south all the way to 98 east. Any info is much appreciated. Also put my 5er in for the pic. Thanks.

I haven't run the section of 45 south of Meridian but my information shows it's all 4 lane so it's looks to be your best bet. The northern sections are all ok the last time I went through, except for having to deal with the traffic signals in West Point. I started to stay at Lake Lowndes once but a co-worker talked me out of it, he lived just down the road and didn't have a very high very of the place. That was a few years back and the state has done a lot of work on the parks.
If you can streach it down to Meridian there are some parks with better reviews such as Okatibbee Water Park.
Good Luck and see ya' in a few days.
On edit - were getting stuck on night #1 at a multiuse pavillion, all the campgrounds in Hattiesburg are full or too far out of the way!

How about raffle a winner to choose their charity of choice. Even the raffle of donated prizes could become an auction as well to increase that contribution. Or if it doesn't amount to much and we decide not to fund raise perhaps the office at Top Sails has a jar in place for a local need.

Devoman,
The photo box will need to have around $200 before I can get the flight. It is going to cost about that much for an hour of the plane and instructor. It would cost me more if I had to get checked out and then fly the plane.

If 40 of the 60 coming give 5$ we're good to go. I'll give ten to speed things along.
