hello i currently have an 1967 airstream overlander with a water heater that doesnt work. i want to replace it but i can find a model # or a serial # or anything.
so my question is, what is the stock water heater on my airstream, and where can i buy a replacment?
Welcome to the forum Trailer Man. I had to replace the w/h on my 67 Caravel and I used the Atwood with the direct spark ignition. It fit the existing hole. Mine is a 6 gal model. The direct spark is great, no more having to relight because of wind or sit there and hold the button for the pilot. Oh, and I bought it at Camping World.

You probably have a 6 gallon tank. I replaced mine with an Atwood.
BUT...the supply lines are often in different spots. So some replumbing
is often needed.
There are tons of RV places in PA . But I go to South Jersey RV . They specialize in Airstreams.
well actully this didn't have a fresh water tank. but we put one in. ok the water heater works but the pipe to it is broken. so i dont know what pipe or fitting fits the water heater because it has no model #. can a pipe that is the same size work?
