Adding a barbeque addapter to existing copper lines

I am trying to find a brass coupling, at one end there should be a male fitting for the flex able hose coming frome the LP gas regulator, the other end should have a female end to attach to the 1/2" copper pipe, and in the middle of this coupling there should be a female thread to screw in the LP gas flexable hose attachment fitting.

I have gone to a couple of RV stores, and have seen a coupling with a very restrictive hole of about 1/4" , where as the copper pipe I BELIEVE is 1/2".

any help would be appreciated

Go to a good hardware store. They should be able to help you.

Instead of connecting after the regulator (low pressure), why not connect between the regulator and the tank (high pressure). Whatever you are connecting to should have a regulator attached to it. This setup is from CW and comes with a 12' hose.

The hose can be removed from the line when not in use.
