Missing wbcci numbers

Can anyone help us find out if this unit was ever issued a WBCCI number
It is vin #I23T4-S1250

Where can WBCCI information be found we have 2 rigs that wore the numbers in their day and wanted to obtain prior owner history

Is there a guide book or cheat sheet available to unscramble vin's

Thanks in advanced to all you in the know

There is no book to correlate vin numbers to WBCCI numbers. I have a collection of old WBCCI directories that I can tell you who a particular number has been used by back to 1964.

Unless it has been polished out,and it ever had the #`s there would at least be a shadow. Maybe the PO`s never belonged. Dave

Thanks for the reply guys i will get the numbers from the 2 rigs we own and pass them along .the missing one is for some friends who feel left out for the lack of a wbcci number. I suggested they join and get their very own but everyone is curious to their airstreams history

R J Dial's Vintage Airstream Photo Archives Vintage Airstream Photo Archives contains some serial number information versus model and year. It's the only compilation in one place that I know of.

There's no real correlation between trailer and WBCCI number since numbers belong to the member and not the trailer. I know of people who have several trailers with the same WBCCI number, and conversely many trailers have had several numbers in their lifetime.

Best of luck,
Nuvi

Here are two charts that will help with late 60s and up VINs.

.... Or they were "baldies" and were members but chose not to display their numbers on their Airstream...
