Joint NOVA / Mohican Rally

This past weekend our two units had our first joint rally in Plain City Ohio near Columbus.

This rally was initiated by the Mohician unit and the activities were mostly planned by them. They did a great job, we had a great dinner together and fun campfires.

Hats off to all that helped. Me and Dawn had a great time!

Well Dan, if invited to some of these functions one might be talked into joining. The only thing I would need is about a week or so to get the trailer ready.

NOVA took part in this fun rally and we hope that it will become a fun annual meeting of two WBCCI units! It was not advertised as a "buddy" rally, although I think it would have been perfectly fine to see friends of silver there too. We did have a small rally fee for this one. Larry and I had a great time being with all of our silver friends from NOVA, and meeting new friends from Mohican.
Friday breakfast was compliments of Mohican and the sausage and pancake breakfast was delicious. Larry was able to share his griddle for the cooking part and he had fun flipping the pancakes.
NOVA was able to do the Sat. morning breakfast on Larry's griddle. I want to thank Ella for doing the shopping and getting us all organized. We did eggs, Canadian bacon, and muffins on the griddle. They were named NOVA muffins with cheese. And we made lots of hot coffee. Thanks to the Mohican unit we also had delicious fruit cups and OJ too.
Ella, Sue and Lou spent some time checking out the yarn and quilting shops in Dublin. The Dan, Dawn, Tom, Terry and Larry went to a distillery and to Haydocy Airstream to check things out. Ella, Tom, Terry, Sue, Larry and Lou visited the zoo in Columbus. Lots of photos! Good times! Hope we can do it again!
