Bathroom door - 1995 34' Excella 1000

Now that we have our L3, , we are beginning to inventory and prep her for travel once the weather improves. So far, L3 needs new shoes, batteries; drapes and a couple more awnings can follow later, but her "bones" are solid!! Afterall, she's been in a shed for 10+ years...her skin shines like a new dime, so we consider ourselves fortunate she's in such good shape.

In this unit, the bathroom door is hinged and the room has only one small heat vent.....which does not permit much air-flow. With two perfectly functioning sliding pocket doors aft and rear, couldn't the lav, separate shower and wardrobes act as a dressing room with the doors in position? Wondering other creative alternatives owners have found. Would enjoy some input. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Our new 25' rear bed is arranged that way as well (with retracting screens). I can see your point but try it the way it is before taking out the door, you might find the bath door gives privacy while your partner moves about the trailer. It's also easier to use than a sliding pocket door.

That small bath vent in ours seems to be enough for the tiny space it heats.

Thank you very much for the suggestion; we appreciate your perspective especially since you own a newer AS. Our '97 AS did have a sliding door which worked well, but the room was larger since the shower was in it also, so there was more floor space. I suppose Airstream ownership is all about trial & error on this journey, isn't it?
