Want to replace Fusion Head

I have a 2017 Interstate and I am ready to replace the Fusion unit. Lack of updates, no CarPlay and rebooting are all too much for me.

Have you guys done a replacement? What units did you replace it with. I am looking at the Sony and Pioneer units.

I have a 2018. My Fusion along with rebooting, no updates or traffic, now has no sound only screeching. I am waiting for the new Kenwood 10" screen to be released.

I went with the Sony AVX-8000. It is like night and day. Love having CarPlay and a more modern user interface. I bought it from Crutchfield. They were terrific, called tech support a few times and they helped me with various issues and questions.

Knock on wood... we have not had any issues with our Fusion...

The battery drain was solved with the switches and I keep up with the software/firmware updates. So far, all has been working as expected.
