Nova kool fridge

We recently purchased our 2019 grand tour ext from a private owner. Really excited about our first trip to the west coast next month. All the systems worked when we purchased. When we got home I plugged in shore power to run the a/c ... it works great! The problem is with the nova kool fridge. The lower freezer works fine. But fridge does not cool down any longer. The compressor doesn’t seem to come on. I scheduled repair with airstream dealer (1 month out). Our vehicle fridge is still under warranty (I think), so I am leery to start trouble shooting. My question... is the nova kool model # 7300 for the interstate grand tour ext? If not does anyone know the correct model number. And any ideas what could be wrong would be helpful.

You can turn the freezer thermostat up to above freezing and cripple on until you get the upper unit fixed. They use the identical compressor with a resistor that makes it run faster.

Interested in what is wrong with your frig. Mine putzed out halfway through my trip keeping the inside a balmy 52 degrees. Moved everything down to the freezer and manually cycled it on/off (30 mins on, 2-4 hrs off).

The wire connectors leading to the fridge compressor were lose. Easy fix with a pair of needle nose pliers and wire connector crimps. I called nova kool Directly they helped me troubleshoot.

Great news that you solved the problem so quickly! It took me quite a number of consults with Nova Kool and my dealer, plus pulling the unit to check wiring, before figuring out it was a bad thermostat. Replaced it and no problems since.
