We just moved from a Classic 33 to an Atlas - so we are new to traveling with a motor coach.
So - do folks run the propane coach heater while driving to keep the interior warm? We live in the Pacific NW - so we do drive frequently when the temps are pretty cool outside.
Thanks in advance for what may be a naive question.
The Atlas is rather large compared to a "b" van, so more volume to heat. If it doesn't feel comfortably warm in the living area while driving in cold weather, it seems like you can do no harm by running your coach heater.
If the heater fails to work because the flame goes out, the worst that should happen is it will turn itself off. You'd also want to keep your propane topped up so you have plenty on hand.
