cant find control unit for Awning

Still searching for awning control unit for 2015 Interstate Touring Coach. Read a thread that said it was in the cabinet with generator start switch and tank controls and its not there. they have moved that cabinet in the 2015.5 model . Anyone have an idea where they could have hide the control unit? I need to adjust the sensitivity on the auto retract for awning.

On my 2014 Interstate the generator, water heater and electrical controls are in the curb side upper compartment behind the wardrobe. The awning controller is behind the panel with those switches and gauges. Perhaps yours is in that compartment somewhere. I have also heard on some models, the awning controller is under the front passenger seat.

Thanks, called customer service and they moved the control unit to the upper rear compartment. you have to remove the upper panel in that compartment and reach up under the insulation on the forward curb side of that compartment. I don't think they could have hidden it better if that is what they were shooting for. I set adjustment to 9 so I will see how that works.

Keep your eye on the awning in windy conditions. If it is not sensitive enough to retract in stiff wind gusts you could incur some expensive damage. Last year I adjusted mine from the factory setting of 5 to 7. I'm very happy with that setting. Now it doesn't retract when I close the sliding door but does retract when a decent gust hits it.
