2015 Interstate folding side seats / jackknife seats
Hi all, I have a new to me 2015 Interstate EXT and it did not come with the folding side "jackknife" seats. Instead there are removable cushions. I was told that the previous owner ordered the interstate without the folding seats.
Anyway, I tried to order new ones, but airstream does not have any. Would any of you have a set of side folding seats that they would sell or donate to me?
Photo is of the seats I want/need.

If anyone has or is planing to convert the sofa bed into twin beds, they would not have a need for the jump seats or the sofa bed.
There is a current thread about converting to twins. Those pondering that switch would be a good source to keep in touch with to possibly replace yours!

Bump to see if anyone has a pair of jump seats they don't need anymore?

They look good and correct - from your 2017? Do you have the side pieces as well, bolts, etc?

Those side pieces are a big reason why we cannot sleep on our lounge bed without a thick topper. Are those by any chance easily removable without breaking the jump seats?

Totally agree and bad design. If I remember correctly, I think that Wachuko did a mod to lower those.

That's good to know. I assumed those dopey side pieces were structural. I'm gonna take a hard look at them next time we're at the van. If I can remove them without impacting the jumpseat function and without exposing ourselves to a serious risk of pinching fingers off, I'm getting them outta there.
Just last week we removed "bed floppers" on the wall at the head of the bed, on either side of the lounge. Shouldn't make a huge difference, but in fact it did - we can now easily fit our Clam-brand screen house across the back of the van where it rests on the pull-out frame that used to support the bed floppers when they are down. Win win, because now the Clam tent doesn't block access to the rest of the storage in the rear when it's in the van.

We just took a look at those padded side jumpseat panels per above. Easily removed, as noted by others, but for now we'll leave them where they are since our thick foam topper protects us well enough and so there's no need to yank them out this minute. If we decide to try sleeping on the lounge with less added padding, these side panels will have to go and they should be easy to remove.
