HELP: Spinning in the mud
I was backing my AS into my very narrow driveway and left the driveway with all four wheels of the truck, particularly the now spinning back wheels. Not a 4 WD; rear wheel drive with the locking differential. The ground is muddy below the (now shredded) grass. The wheels are just spinning. I have room to back up not more than 18", maybe more like 12".
I tried pulling forward excruciatingly slowly, and then playing brake and accellerator, in 1st gear (10 speed transmission). Then I tried using a metal fence type grate for traction in front of the wheels. Nothing. Then I tried using an old pair of floor mats. Nothing.
Now I'm asking y'all for help. But please, don't ask me how I did this. By the way: more rain forecast for tonight, tomorrow, etc.

Call a tow truck that can handle both the tow vehicle and the trailer. You may need two tow trucks.
Hopefully you have some kind of RV roadside assistance.
Good luck,

Perhaps if you release your WD bars that will give your rear wheels more traction.
Good luck.

Lot's of great blogs sites and Youtube videos with some really good ideas, depending on what you have in the garage available to help out. Search for them.

I was going to suggest rubber floor mats...don’t ask me how I might know what to try when stuck in the mud.
Our rigs are heavy, and sometimes we forget that.
I also suggest you just call for professional help.

Back in the day, when I got stuck on the farm, I would break an alfalfa bale open, place a flake of hay in front of (or back of, depending on desired direction) the drive wheels, place the truck/car/tractor in gear, and let the wheel pull the hay flake under it. Rinse and repeat, over and over, until I've walked my vehicle out. Amazingly effective one man rescue kit.
Plan B: Tow strap and tow vehicle.

Obviously a visual would help to better understand your situation but, assuming you haven't already, would it be possible to unhitch from the trailer? You might then be able to more easily extricate the truck from the area where it's stuck.
At that point you could either re-approach the trailer from a different angle, maybe on firmer, undisturbed ground or at least put something down where the wheels have already dug in to give you more traction. Good luck.

Not sure if there it a good size tree accessible from the front side. Get one of these and pull yourself out. These pull up to 3 tons which should be more than enough to pull you out. Then you will have it for future uses as well!!! https://www.forestry-suppliers.com/p...=67118&redir=Y

Been there! I recall unhitching the trailer, getting going in the forward direction, filling the hole with gravel and/or covering with sturdy planks, hosing off the tires, and hooking up again. Next tv was 4WD.
Are you in the path of bad weather? Don’t panic! Good luck!

A good read for people deciding between 2wd and 4wd. I needed my 4wd three or four times this summer and I don't do any driving on really bad roads. 4wd provides a great deal of peace of mind

For the future: Get a "cow mat" and cut it into 8" or 10" strips of whatever length you like. Mine are 10" square or 10" x 24". I usually use them under leggo blocks for leveling but they will get you out of mud with ease.
Cow mats a 1/2" thick mats of recycled tires used in barns for cows to walk and lay on. They are tough. In Wisconsin we have "Farm & Fleet" stores. They are big (Home Depot size) general stores that carry stuff farmers and home owners need. I'm sure there is something like them in GA.

Some photographs would help. Anyone suggesting a method without seeing the situation would not be suggested as a solution.
One Tow Truck can winch you out. I have seen one tow truck pull a fully loaded U Haul truck up a gravel driveway by changing the angle on his winch. He needs something to attach that will NOT pull OFF your tow vehicle. These guys are worth the money if needed.
Being stuck Going DOWN is the most difficult to get out of. How do I know? Guess.... even a 1962 4x4 Jeep can get stuck. That is why many Jeep Owners haul a Bumper Jack... Sometimes you need to get the wheels two feet or higher to get out of trouble.
Photos help. Otherwise everyone is guessing what you are describing and haven't a clue what the proper solution might be.

Getting unstuck
Do you have AAA? Do you have Good Sam coverage? You have a 2020 Airstream. You should have Coachnet coverage. Look in your bag of manuals received when your AS was delivered to you. Coachnet info should be in there. Coachnet may get you unstuck.
We have had AAA for years. The RV coverage is a small extra cost. Only used them once for trip interruption coverage. They paid off big time. The amount they paid covered about 10 years of premiums.
Hope you get unstuck.

Find another truck owner and ask for a pull with rope or chain .
On flat ground , it does not take much to get a stuck truck going .
Unless you keep digging in - spinning wheels .

Phone a friend for sure. Usually doesn't take much of a tug to get out.
Then again it depends on how deep you have spun into the mud.
Good Luck!
