E-Brake & Sway Control Advice

I’ll be towing a Bambi 22RB with a 2020 Ram 1500 Quad Cab / Hemi 5.7l. The trailer won’t be available until spring, but I’m looking for what I need, and don’t need, to make for a pleasant towing experience. The last camper I towed was a larger pop up using a Dodge Caravan as the TV. So I have some experience with e-brakes and control bars. I’m thinking that this set up will be a little different. Looking for functional options more than overall kill with a bunch of bells and whistles. Any feedback would be appreciated.

If you want to keep it simple and don't mind some movement in the truck, just hitch up. It will be inherently stable as long as you don't drive like a bat out of hell. If you are looking for a more pleasant experience, get some forgiving WD and sway control. A Blue Ox, Reese, Curt, EAZ lift or similar are all good. The Andersen would be great but you didn't say the trailer age and they have an issue with the Atwood 88xxx couplers that you can fix but you have to fuss with it. The Equalizers are too stiff. Variants of the Equalizer from Reese and Blue Ox are very good. If you want a no fuss top of the line rock solid setup, go with the pricey Hensley Cub.

Sorry I could not boil this down, but they all work. What is a poor boy to do?
