2" or 2 1/4" ball?

Picking up the new Argosy tomorrow - does anyone know if it is a 2" or a 2 1/4" ball hitch, or something else? 1978 28'. Thanks!

My 1975 Argosy 26 uses a 2 5/16" ball.

It's neither one.

But it is a 2 5/16 inch coupler.

Yes it should be 2-5/16" unless someone changed things along the way.

Congrats on the Argy.

You might want to pick up a weight distributing hitch with sway control while you're there. For safety.

The seller has offered to sell the hitch, ball, and sway bars - what is a reasonable price? It looks like a pretty heavy duty setup.
