I'm back. Moving and getting engaged put a hiatus on the Airstream but it is definitely not forgotten.
Today was a monumental day! The last of the structural patch work is completed.
We did a different pattern for the front gusset plate and it looks so much better and more uniform.
Once done, we dropped all the jacks to see how it was under it's own weight. There wasn't a single creak, moan, or groan. No more panels that would pop which was my biggest worry.

Great report on the gusset plate and good to see you back at it. Also, congratulations on your engagement. Take care and be safe.

Thanks guys! I'm glad to be done with all the structural repairs. Now it's all the smaller patches.

Two more patches done. I need some c-channel before I can patch the hole where the water heater was.

Good luck with the sale! It's a heck of a build.

Also... I wish I had more time/energy/cash right now. I've got a '76 31 foot Excella off the frame right now, and I'm really not looking forward to wire brushing and Por-15-ing the frame. It would be so easy to slip your frame with all that Coosa right under the shell that is sitting in my yard.

A lot of work and a lot of time has been put in to this trailer. I know I will still miss it to a degree once it goes...

I haven't been having much luck with Craigslist lately--seems like the buyers have all drifted away. Offerup, FB Marketplace seem to be pretty active. your absolute best bet would be to put it in the AirForums Classified ads, as you are looking for a very specific person to buy your project in the state that it is in.

Airstream is sold... It has been a pleasure. Hopefully the new owner will pick it back up on the forums in the future. I have very mixed feelings
