I’ve heard and read that several streamers have had a similar issue, but my back hatch (originally housing the black water flush) leaks profusely when it rains. It has a tight seal and a brand new gasket, but water always pools up in the bottom of the channel.
I also can’t help but notice that this hatch is the only one on the trailer that has a piano hinge and the door opens down. All the other hatch doors and windows lift up and have a water runoff track along the top that also serves as a hinge. The back hatch has no water track whatsoever. I’ve noticed the same design on similar airstreams. The water track would be the same size as the back window, being the hatch and window have the same curve and length, but that would be difficult to procure...
My idea is to use one of the older window drip edges like this:

Am I crazy or will this maybe work?
