That's somewhat surprising since I have Moen faucets in my home. Those pull out push down Moen's are pretty positive and typically replacement of the cartridge takes care of Moen issues. Question I'm wondering is if there is something that is keeping faucet handle from being depressed fully in. Obviously if the travel is restricted that doesn't allow that knob to be pushed in enough, you can get a drip. I'd look at when the knob is fully pushed in, whether a piece of the surround is not allowing the knob to move in far enough. Could also be the assembly that the cartridge sits in was mounted too far back, again not allowing the handle enough travel room to totally close the valve when pushed in.
