Unhappy outdoor shower removal/replacement

So I bought a stainless steel replacement outdoor shower for my 2009 23FB Flying cloud. In attempting to remove the existing unit, I cannot get it to budge after removing all screws and running a thin metal putty knife under the lip all the way around. I thought it might be the actual plumbing to the unit holding it in but a) I can't imagine the attached pipes could hold it this tight, and b) I was able to unscrew one of the supply lines from the inside and it made no difference. Any ideas? Has anybody dealt with this project on the same model?

I did this on my 2018 International. I recall there being VERY little hose length that connected to the outside shower and had to work it from both the outside and inside (I could reach it by going through the panel under the closet where the water pump lives. It was tight for sure.

After spending quite a bit of time trying to pull the shower unit out (including attempting to cut through as much of the adhesive used to install it), I finally concluded I needed to remove the supply lines to free it up. Since I couldn't reach the connections which were under the kitchen sink and behind the back wall of the cabinet, I cut a hatch to provide the needed access. Once I was able to remove the supply lines, I gained just enough wiggle room to cut through the copious amount of adhesive that had been used to glue the unit in place. Why? I have no idea.

I'm now at the point where I have removed the old adhesive both inside and out, and used a dremmel tool to enlarge the opening where necessary to accept the new unit. By the end of the day today, I realized that the connections for the supply lines on the new unit do not line up with the existing plumbing. Tomorrow's job is to address that issue! But making progress!

Not to hijack, but ...

Is there a good source for a shorter hose for the outdoor shower?

The one that came with my 2017 19-footer is too long and is a poor fit for the shower unit ... have to really fold it up to make it fit, barely.

I'm not interested in taking a shower out there, but I could use it for rising off my MTB bike after a dirty ride, and things like that. I don't need a long hose for that.

The hose that came with the outdoor shower is really cheap stuff. i'd like something shorter and better, maybe stainless.
