Kitchen Faucet Replacement

I think the cartridge in my kitchen faucet has gone bad as it leaks while using it. I figured this would be a good opportunity to replace the faucet that I'm not completely in love with.

Looking under my sink, it seems a bit of a maze - my current set-up is a single-handle faucet with a separate sprayer and water filter. The water filter is controlled by a separate knob and it actually comes out via a separate hole halfway down the faucet arm.

I'm planning on just a simple pull-out faucet replacement.

However, I'm a bit unclear on the fittings - will this be as simple as replacing the kitchen faucet at home or will the fittings not be the same size? It seems the PEX (?) lines connect to copper lines?

Would appreciate any guidance/insight!

We replaced the OEM faucet in our 1993 MH last year. I tried everything to get that thing out. Finally gave up and called a mobile mechanic. He ended up only getting it somewhat loose, but at least then he could get a Sawz-all blade in and cut the old faucet apart. Installing the new one was a piece of cake.

We decided on a pair of short flex risers so that we could attach them to the faucet while out in the clear, then drop them down the holes and connect to the pex down there.

Looks like you have plenty of room to work, but you still might want to use the short risers. Makes for an easier installation. BTW, if you have a Corian countertop, it cuts very easily if you need to modify a hole or two. Just makes a LOT of very mobile dust.
