I have run into a problem and am confused.
I just purchased a 1985 290 29 foot motorhome from a friend in Alaska. In 2004 he and I went out to Tennessee after he purchased this motor home and we drove it back to Alaska. I fell in love with it and totally enjoyed the venture we undertook.
Last year my wife and I moved to Washington State which we now call home. This past summer his wife passed away and I made the decision to purchase the 290 from him. My wife and I will make our maiden voyage this summer and take it back to Washington State. When we go back to Alaska to drive it down the Alcan, I hope to post pictures of it along the way.
Now for my problem. I went on the Airstream registry page to register it, but according to the registry this 1985 290 did not exist until 1987 (when I use the pull down arrow). I know that it does exist and they were manufactured between 1985 through 1990.
Is there a way to fix this problem so I can register it to what it is? I also pulled up the previous owner (Bagenders) and she obviously had the same problem because she had to register it under the wrong manufacture's date. Hopefully all the registration problems will be solved so I can get it registered prior to our trip to Washington.
