Try Hamilton Engine Sales in Portland, OR. 503.288.6714 or Marine Engine & Repair, Seattle, 206.286.1817.
Marine Engine will not have automotive stuff, but they might have the gasket.

Agreed re Hamilton Engine - they have been very helpful in sourcing parts. The gasket should not be a problem. For the turbo air, this will probably not be a stock Isuzu part as most if not all of the early 80s Isuzus were delivered to Airstream without turbos. Measure what you need (mine are all 2-1/4" ID) and see Intercooler Pipe Fabrication - Silicone Intake Systems Auto Parts

Hi all - I'm still trying to find an Isuzu part number for the 6BD1 valve cover gasket.
The aluminum cover on these engines uses a unique gasket that helps with the noise.
I am now an accidental expert on the 6BD1 valve cover/gasket - 6 or so covers, both tin and alloy, and at least 5 variations of gasket from 1977-2000. I tried Hamilton in Oregon and several shops in Canada but their parts books are all for the industrial version of this engine which never used this cover.
Any chance anyone out there has a 1980-83 parts book?
Thanks!

I ordered my valve cover gasket through Hamilton a few years ago, had no problem. Also ordered the rubber seals for the bolts. I’ll have to look through my receipts to see if I can find part numbers.

I used a universal hose from NAPA for the turbo intake hose, I think it’s 3” but can’t remember for sure. I’m in the middle of a home remodel so my files are a bit of a muss. I’ll find them though and post you the number on the valve gasket.

Ok, my lovely anal retentive wife was able to point me right to my file. I’ve got the invoice from Hamilton but I don’t know if this number is an Isuzu number or a Hamilton number but
This is it,
911173124 for the valve cover gasket
114115059 for the turbo intake manifold gasket, because you’ll need to remove the crossover tube to access valve cover
109639032 for the rubber seals/grommet for cover bolts

Hope these help. Those are right off the invoice from Hamilton so they should know if they are Isuzu or their own numbers

Thanks a bunch! I had a pile of part numbers that have been wrong.

Oddly enough, that part number is listed for the "Truck 5000" 5 liter engine. I never would have found it in 6BD land.

Cheers,
-Anton

If it's any help, the part number for the aluminum 'truck 5000' rocker cover is 5-11170-198-0 and the Isuzu part number for the gasket is 9-11173-124-0.

Cheers
-Anton
