Need help

Hello. It seems I bought a motor out of an airstream for my pick up truck. I ran the numbers on the intake manifold and we'll here we are. I'm having all sorts of problems with this thing. I need info on how the vacuum lines are to be ran, what ones I need and ones I can do without. Also if anybody has switched the tbi for a carburetor, please let me know what worked. Thanks Tony

I assume that you have the TBI. Here is the routing that is on the air breather of our 1991.

Hope this is what you are looking for.

Don’t know if you got it figured out, but I did do a gen 4 to gen 5 TbI out of 94 Chevy
I just put the gen 4 carb manifold on the gen 5, to my recollection all I did was run pcv valve hose to a T one side to the charcoal canister the other to front of the carb and vacuum advance to the correct port on the carb., don’t have vacuum booster brakes so don’t know about that, but would imagine it would hook up to manifold vac.
All said and done it ran way cooler and way more low end torque than gen 4
I say to my recollection because it was only in the motorhome for one week , got home ripped it out put in diesel

Thanks guys for the advice. I checked and double checked everything but there was one small detail I didn't know about. 95 only, Chevy p/u's have a single wire under the glovebox door which when setting timing, has to be unplugged. Set timing and reattach wire. I never heard of this step before. Anyway, I got it finally done and she runs great. Thanks again. Tony
