Buffing

Last fall we took our camper to the Outer Banks. A storm came up with 60mph wind gusts. Sand blew everywhere. A branch was barely touching our roof, but, with the sand and wind it made some scratches we would like to buff out. The whole unit was buffed about 4 years ago. So we only need this little area done. What is the best product/method to use? Thanx in advance.

If you guys want to hone your buffing skills. In invite you to come to my home, see my 325 , say high to our 185 pd Newfoundland, called fats. And then after some good food, you may buff my coach....... What say you. It would give you sooooo much good experience and skills. It's good cardio emotionally satisfying, and Wisconsin at this time of the year is so late winterish. Just marvelous. DJ

Nuvite polishes are the best to use in my view. You will need some F7, a 7" wool bonnet, a right angle polisher of good quality, and some free hours.

Compound it with the F7 and polisher. And then follow up with F7 and the Cyclo orbital polisher. Then you can polish to "mirror" with some C or S fine grit polish.

An outfit called Perfect Polish has some nice Y Tube videos on the process.

It's going to be 40 degrees this weekend. Perfect buffing weather.
I'm going to buff the upper section where the windows are, and see how that comes out. Then I think I'm going to leave the lower part kind of liked brushed aluminum. I think it will look sharp. We lol see thanks for the offer. Ole fats will be sad . If my buffing turns out, it's going to be a cool looking ride. The big boss will be somewhat happy. Er, considering I blew past my budget last summer. She likes cool things too. Just cheaper cool. See ya. DJ
