Where's the difference?

I am looking at two mid 70's TTs. One is a 25' Tradewind and the other is a 23' Safari. Both are double bed models. Where is the two foot difference in the floor plan? What other differences do these two units have?

from my observations, its mostly up front. there is more room between the front gaucho and the galley cabinet, making the whole width of the couch useable. (I can't imagine anyone would actually sit on the couch in the streetside corner; no legroom. works fine for sleeping in the bed configuration, though.). Oh, and there's a little bit of extra space in the tradewind between the bunks and the bathroom, just big enough for a small closet. that 2' overall makes a big difference, imo. but the basic layout of the furniture is the same.

There's actually quite a few different floor plans in the two models that you have mentioned.
Early 70's Tradewinds and Safaris usually had a wet cell bath, meaning the shower pan is the bathroom floor. The wet bath is short front to rear, which allows more room in the front of the trailer. Same goes for the Safari.
However, there are distinct differences between the double and twin bed floor plans. A good source for pics is here:

We had a very good time with our 1971 Tradewind, despite the often criticiqued wet bath.It was a near perfect floor plan for 2 adults, and occasional visits from a friend or 2 grand kids.
We especially liked the amount of storage this floor plan offered. When we emtied out teh trailer just before we sold it, the contents of it just about filled up one of our garage spaces..
