Question Trouble posting an ad

I have tried several times both with Safari and Firefox to post an add for my airstream. I have entered all the fields including a description. I am trying to attach 8 photos with it as well.

Every time I hit submit I get returned to the first step prompting me whether I want to place and add to sell or to buy. So far no add appears to be posted.

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Did you sign in? Classifieds use a separate log in from the regular forums. If that doesn't work contact the help desk using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page and they will work on it.

If the photos are too large the ad won't load, either.

It was the image size. I thought I had read in some documentation that the site would scale down the images if they were too large. They were taken with my iPhone. I still had to reduce them quite a bit. Thanks again for the tip.

Good to know your ad is up.

Yes, the classifieds software has limited capacity. Maximum size for images is 450 x 600 pixels.

This is from the Forums 101 thread -- How to Load a Classified Ad
