"Rivet"?

I'm a new member of the forum. Can someone let me in on the significance of members who Identify themselves with the "rivet" word. I'm assuming, of course that it has to do with Airstream's unique construction - but what does a number ( 1,2,3) or Master indicate?
Looked in help, etc. without success.

Dan it's all got to do with the number of posts you do. The more posts the more rivets you earn. It is explained in the how to's section.

If you like the more laid back approach and do not wish to participate in the Race for Rivets, there is an alternative.

In your user control panel, click on edit your details. About halfway down that page you will find, under Optional Information, "custom user title". There you can chose whatever witty or identifying phrase that you would like to replace your rivet status.
