how to use search?

ok,
every time i use search i get no results.
and "new posts" page is displayed, and i am logged in.
what do i need to do?

Our search is kind of unsatisfying as it searches key words only.

I've noticed in Firefox the standard search dosn't work well, like you said it just brings up recent post, but Advanced search seems to work fine, you may want to try that
