Distance calculation in classifieds

I just posted our trailer for sale about a week ago, and have already had two other members tell me about the bogus mileage calculations the site does. I live in northern Ohio, and one from North Carolina said the site gave 52 miles away, and one in Florida said it showed 200 miles away.

Is there something I did wrong in the listing or is this a site issue?

That feature has been a long time problem.
I would suggest that you always include your location in the ad.

This is a known bug and try as we might, we can't fix it. The simplest thing to do is to edit your ad to include a general location.

Sorry for the hassle. But... at least folks are reading your ad

Janet---Since the mileage calculator feature can't be fixed, consider eliminating it from the program. Everything else about this site is first class. No point in keeping something that isn't and irritates folks.
