Deleting Pics

HELP!!!
I couldn't sleep- so I got up early and started trying to download some pics-oops, I downloaded some twice, as well as having some that I used in selling a trailer. Is there some way to delete these?
Thanks so much!

Have no intention of arriving at the grave safely, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, throttle in the other, totally worn out and screaming
"WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!"

Janet: Maybe you can help.

Sherry and I just bought our first digital. We are so "old" it seems with new technology. Anyway, it is a Canon Rebel XT, and I can't upload the pictures. I am probably over the pixel settings allowed (400 x 400). So far I have placed the picture quality on the next to last setting, and she still will not upload. I do not see where with Cannon they set forth actual pixels, just quality settings.

Any help out there????

Robert

What you may want to do is take you pictures in the higher resolution format because you never know what other use you may have for them, like printing, cropping details and framing. Get a photo editing software program of some sort, Photo Shop, Paint Shop or many of the cameras come with something similar. Then downsize copies of the photos for uploading online, that way you will have your higher resolution photos for other purposes. All these programs have a feature to crop & resize the images, that way you can show what you want and cutout the rest as needed. The software programs will give you many more options with regards to modifying your pictures than your camera alone will.

Here's an older thread that discusses various programs others here online use, it primarily talks about cameras, but there is lots of good information about software programs too and you said you already have the camera.

Once you have resized your photos, then the posting part is pretty simple, check out this thread for step-by-step instructions.

Good luck...;ooking forward to seeing your pics!

Shari
