As mentioned earlier, I too am starting to get quite a few spam emails which come in as from airstreamforums.com but obviously aren't. The subject is "support" and the email is blank. I would normally report these as spam and just delete them, but I don't want to start repeatedly marking airstreamforums.com as a spam generator, because that may cause blocking in my email filters of all our REAL AirForums emails.

Hoping it will just die off soon like most do in the end, but curious if there are a lot of other people getting them, and if anyone has a better idea how to deal with them.

Subscribed thread notifications have been a variable problem for some time. The migration to the new server a week ago began the first of a number of upgrades to equipment and software. We are aware of this thread subscription issue but I'll pass it upstairs to tech staff as a reminder.

The empty emails have gotten much attention. See http://www.airforums.com/forums/f138...tml#post424947.

I've been getting them daily. I hit REPLY and send it back to whomever is responsible. They always respond, saying it is characteristic of their new system and hopefully it will end soon. I'm still getting them - so I simply send it back to them. Eventually, I'm sure they'll figure it out.

Blank email

For the record, I too receive blank emails almost daily. No harm, just another item to delete.

guy99 and countless other members continue to report this problem. I apologize and thank you for your collective patience. My alternate hotmail account has collected about 60 of these blank emails since December 7th. These blank emails are truly blank. There is nothing viral or harmful about them. Just discard them. Our current Classifieds system has an unfixable error that causes the response -- it may happen if you have signed up for notifications about status on particular ads. I imagine many members truly are not receiving effective notification for interests in trailers listed. I'm not happy about it.

A few of us involved in responding to these inquiries feel that our explanations have gone on and on and on. There are more software packages involved than the delayed vBulletin Forums software upgrade. A new year is coming -- we hope the blank emails disappear soon!
