Peter all is well. I've got my shop all re-arranged, and as soon as we get out of the Tundra we're in, I'll get the galley tweeked and then work on the left (street-side) bulkhead. I just keep getting slammed with projects to do. Should post some progress on the forum in April. Jerry

The ar club is going to be in Eureka Springs in May. Any chance you can make it?

Peter- we have a local WBCCI rally near that time. Post your gathering details and I'll see if I can make that happen. I'm going to get some things done on the Caravel in the next 2 months, while my hangar is cleared out. Jerry

Hello fellow vintage Airstreamers: I'm still kicking here in Colorado. I went to a Colorado Club vintage rally last summer that was fun. Many old geezers talking about old Airstreams, what could be better. I also went to the International Rally in Rock Springs, WY. I can cross that off my bucket list.

My folks lived in Eureka Springs for 15 years in their retirement and we visited many times. It is a fun "tourists" type town in the very scenic Ozarks. I haven't found a nearby vintage rally yet, but maybe one will pop up.

Enjoy your travel adventures in your old Airstreams.

David

David- Thanks for the wake up call. About 3 years ago we bought a Condo in Northeast Florida and a year ago we bought a house that I'm just about done putting the Full-Monte on. Also hung two new engines on a "barn find" Beech 58 Baron that was out of annual for about 10 years. It's got a new panel and is up to standards now. Just got a hangar here in Florida with enough extra space to bring Monkey Business down in a month or so to finish it up. I'll leave the 2005 in KC and will sell the '67 Safari with the NASA history and probably take it to the VAC Rally at the National Rally in Sedalia, MO. Stay tuned, the project is going to get it's just deserved attention. Got side-tracked after loosing my cheap storage place a few years ago in the Old GM plant in KC. Momma wanted herself a place in FL, and if Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. Jerry

Wow docflyboy: You sure have a lot of projects much more complex than your Airstream project. A vintage Beech Baron is so neat. Renovating old Airstreams is a good primer for building your own airplane. As they say, you gotta love the work of a project, and not just wait for the end result. Seems like all you KC Airstreamers fit that pattern; Slats, Atomic13, coloradoup, and yourself.
