Just around the top edge by the body seam and a little dab around the rivit holes. I didn't want any water that got under the cover to get trapped.

Cleaned everthing up and resealed the pipe with Permatex Ultra Blue. We use this stuff in the shop for sealing aluminum oil pans and cases.
Cleaned and painted the cover, and re-installed with pop...

Fixed the Vent

Got the cover off last weekend. The cover was sealed with a old tar type tape. Water had eroded the seal and ran right down the pipe.

Question Vent Cover Leak

Well it's been raining here for the last 4 days so I thought I'd do some work on the inside of the GT. Found all the jackets in one closet wet!:(
Seems water is sneeking in around the drain waste...
