Did some further research and the VIN does match. I will look on the A Frame where I'm sure the number is and clean it up.

Where is the 1976 Argosy Vin Number
I purchased a 1976 Argosy 28 Ft Center Bath. I have found the tag that say's MFD by Argosy with the date and Type Trailer number. But can't find the actual VIN number. Where do I find this...
