Having pulled with a 1500 Z71 4X4 suburban- successfully through 16 states and through the smoky mountains - with the weight and size of your trailer go with a minimum of a 2500.. In our situation...

A lot depends on the weight of the AS.... Our 31' weighed in loaded at 5500#.... Our Z71 4x4 1/2 ton Suburban did awesome- even in the Virginia and upstate New York hills.... Due to needing the space...

So running on 7.00-15 tires - picked up a nasty...

So running on 7.00-15 tires - picked up a nasty screw - non repairable - so 4 new ST 225/75r15 10 ply - 80 PSI max (2800 load) running at 65 PSI..... We'll see how she goes today,,,
