P.S. The photo is by Robert Truman taken in 1998. A graphic shape of one object (an eye) made by a different object altogether - a man with his head in the water, arms outstretched. Nikon F transparency using available light.

It's an unused album cover photo for The Scorpions, Eye to Eye. The Scorps decided to put themselves on the cover instead (and you never heard from them again). I like the cover for Lovedrive too but it probably wouldn't make the mod squad very happy.
