We've got the same 25 FB Signature and have found it to be the ideal configuration. Have had a number of great trips over the past year two seasons.
I did one modification and that was to provide more counter space and also provide a place for a microwave. (Didn't want to swap out the oven).
We didn't have use for the long lounge so I built a cabinet with a butcher block counter top and space for the microwave underneath. Could also be used for storage. No modifications to the lounge were necessary other than to re-arrange the cushions. The new cabinet drops down behind the lip of the lounge frame. And if needed, the cabinet can be easily removed, cushions replaced, and the factory configuration results. I used the outlet underneath the dinette table for power, snaking a cord behind and under the lounge cushions.
Enjoy your new rig!

Really nice mod! We need the extra sleeping room for kids or else I’d seriously consider your brilliant idea. Thanks for sharing!

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
Congratulations on your maiden voyage. We have a similar set-up with our 2015 FC 25FB. This is our second 25FB. It's a great floor plan. We are closing in on 2,000 nights of Airstream camping in this floor plan.

Great looking rig. That Escalade looks like it was made for the 25!

We went 2 feet longer, a 28 Serenity. At first towed with a 2016 Expedition EcoBoost, which was OK, then traded for a 2018 F250 Diesel. Night and day difference, and probably overkill, but it sure makes towing easy...

When we ordered our Classic we had a 2016 GMC 1500 with the 6.2. It pulled everything we had then without much effort but I was having some transmission issues so I traded it for a 2018 F250. I am glad I did with this 30' Classic. Tows it like a dream.

Thanks everyone. Yes, Escalade looks great w/AS, drives like a limo and gets the job done for now. But we will likely move to an F250 tow for more power and toys in the bed down the road. We need a smaller chase vehicle for our extra humans and dogs, and one that can be used to back into smaller camp spots with maximum 40 foot combined length. Ie unhitch and rehitch from the larger tow vehicle. Any ideas?

Congratulations on your new rig!
One modification that has really paid off for our International Signature 23FB was swapping out the conventional batteries for lithium ion, and installing a 300W solar charging system on the roof. We were able to boondock for four days without running low on power. We also got a free upgrade of the microwave oven to a convection microwave.
One additional mod we are considering is upgrading the inverter to 2000W so we could use the convection microwave while on batteries. My wife would appreciate being able to use her hair dryer as well!
Enjoy!

Thanks. Very helpful, particularly since my wife wants the blow dryer with her. Any idea if I need two surge protectors for the pedestals, one 30 and one 50? Or is there a protector that can handle both?

Get the 50 amp Progressive Industries surge. It will also work when connected to a 30 amp service with a dogbone adapter.
