Finally Landed my old job.
HI all, Last time I was on here we were about to leave and go to BIG HILL LAKE in Kansas...we did go...and I did work there for four months. But soon we realized that living and trading out for a free bartered rent space in a spectacular wooded forest was not going to pay the bills. Gas and food wwas too far away to afford month to month. So I told the Corps folks that we loved it there but we could not 'eat trees'.
So we pulled out and started skipping gradually back to Altus where we started out at, and while there- parked and plugged into a small house, the city came by and told us we had seven days to move. So I got on the phone and contacted the Big Texan Steak Ranch where I had actually lived and painted for five or six years, and a seven year time span had lapsed of me not being there. But Bobby Lee said to get on up there and a job was waiting for me.
So finally I think we have made a good arrangement, and are living a quarter of a mile down hill from the Big Texan - and am able to go to and from work there. So now you know about where I am at with a good paying job.
Robert the hitch you gave us is perfect, and the truck seems to pull all right after you get used to it.
So thats my update, nice to be back in here again,, Thanks. Bill
