Gray colored outlet in Galley

Is there some significance to the gray colored outlet in the galley of my 2013 international signature? All other outlets in the trailer are white?

Is that outlet powered by your inverter maybe? Check your owner's manual, and then experiment.

Does that outlet work when you are plugged into shore power? Remove shore power, and does the outlet work? You might have to turn on your inverter, as we do in our 2014 FC20.

GCFI outlet. There should be a sticker on it, denoting it as such.

It is gray to help “match” the aluminum wall it is mounted in. Due to it being on the kitchen counter I guess Airstream finds it highly visible and try’s to make it blend in.

Definitely not inverter wired. Just matches the aluminum. Otherwise known as the “coffee pot and ice maker plug”

That’s funny Bob. Self-indication of weak mental capacity… I thought the flat white panel on the Dometic 23D interior of fridge was trim until one day I saw it open at dealership… duoh! Says I slapping head… it’s a small freezer. I never ever accuse others of stupidity… I’ve had my own share of Airstream self-induced dumb moments.
