Our new to us Airstream is named Sylvie for the obvious reasons: she is silver and she will be taking us into the woods.

Latin Meaning:
The name Sylvie is a Latin baby name. In Latin the meaning of the name Sylvie is: From the forest.

Does that mean you've got a white tow vehicle named Snowy?

Then in keeping with the Tintin theme, how about Captain Haddock? It does drink, right?

This thread is great…..

Since my daughters name is Fiona (Fun In Our New Airstream) I couldn't name her that SOOOOOOOO I decided since I couldn't afford a mistress AND an Airstream, my 1983 310 Turbo Diesel would have to do double duty, so I call her "The Mistress or my Silver Sweetheart".

My wife completely agrees with calling her that as I have spent a huge amount of time replacing subfloors, counter tops, air ride tanks, compressors and fittings, not to mention digging out all the old sealant and resealing all the windows/doors/fittings, etc, etc.

Come to think of it…….a human mistress would have been far cheaper and easier on my back, but wouldn't near grandner the attention from my neighbours like my "Silver Sweetheart" does.

Cheers
Tony

I have been informally calling it "the man can" after buddies hung out a couple nights drinking in there...

Wife does not approve for obvious reasons

She suggested "fam can" - just does not have the same ring to it

We are still undecided about TT or TV names at this point

Ours is named "Screw Cap", because that's our brand. :-) All our sailboats have been named that, and we already have all the duffel bags, shirts, license plates, etc. with that name on it, so we're going with the family logo.

We named our 67 Midge. It suits her perfectly. We got personalized plates "MIDGE67". I just love her so much! We acquired a little 1965 Holiday Rambler this year. We are member number 13 in the Ramble On Club, so I think her name will be Lucky.....trying to keep the bad voodoo at bay

I first thought "The Baked Potato".
Then "The Loaded Baked Potato".
Then "Sir Campsalot".
Then "Joe Cool"- looks like it is wearing shades.
We really just call it "The Trailer".

It took me almost two years to find names for my Airstream and my toad, so don't sweat it. If it's meant to have a name, it will find one. Eventually.

We haven't picked ours up yet, but we are thinking "Southern Exposure". We were both born and raised in the south and I wanted something that would indicate at least the area we are from.

Somebody said something about "the dodge pullin the shiny rabbit turd" over the cb, tinpellet it is. My guns/trucks/trailers just tend to "fall" into their names.
