Only time will tell - he's too new In my possession. My last Mini Cooper was Preston (the sheep murdering cyber dog from Wallace and Gromit. I think the Airstream may have a bit of his psychotic spirit as well; we'll see.

What a fun thread. We had been talking about naming ours while driving it back from the dealership. Just then we drove through an intersection, and the cross street was called Hazelfern. Somehow the name stuck, and we have been calling her Hazelfern ever since (Hazel for short). Funny how names come about and then stick. We call our TV Big Red.

For us, the perfect name was Firefly. We had discussed names ad nauseum on the drive back...Things were not looking good. I was told that it was my trailer and I could name it whatever. It took some time, but the epiphany finally came. When I told hubby the trailer's name, he was surprised..."Are you sure? You don't even like that show..." And I don't. My Firefly is a cool lightning bug and his is a spaceship. We're both shiny.

I wonder why we don't see more trailer names with AL in them, like ALbert or ALlie or ALtoona.

We call ours the "Flying Cloud" because it is. But am thinking of renaming it "Rolling Thunder" because of the noise the body panels make when we walk around inside.

Unfortunately , we just had a hail storm in the Dallas, TX, area. So our beautiful silver streamer has been renamed. The new name " Hail on Wheels".

We picked up our brand new baby today. Since we are oh so with it with technology I texted my daughter who names everything and asked her this question. She texted back....Lucille. So, Lucille it is!
