I like your ideas, I have heard of a trailer that has Marble counter tops. That had to add some weight.

Silver Cloud Airstream
Was the Torpedo actually called an Airstream? I thought the Silver Cloud was the oldest Airstream model: the ID tag says Airstream. Anyway it ought to come in first for something.

This is a great post, I hope others will chime in. This is the type of information that can be of great interest to all Airstreamers.
Thanks Don

How 'bout "largest snakeskin found in an Airstream reno?" Frank may hold that record as well.
And then there's, "Most whiskey bottles found in an Airstream renovation." As far as I know, Terry has the record, for his/my trailer after he first picked it up from Bat Cave.

I love this sub category. How about who drove all day with a full Black tank because they forgot to empty.

I guess the kids ( 23 years old ) didn't believe me that the black tank was full. I think the the ladies were complying with the " If it's Yellow Rule "
I believe that tenters really prefer my bathroom over a Porta John.
Maybe there could be a Most Used Beer in an Airstream Award.
Seriously, .......Very interesting Thread.
How about most expensive Airstream?

Hard to beat
"It's a way cool world" award to Andy R
The longest continuous restoration on the AirForums. His 61 Bambi. I believe it is still in the process of restoration. maybe Andy could have some pictures posted here.

There's one on his blog, let's see if I can link it.
I told him it would make a nice set of boots...

This may need to be also posted on the threads about how to get rid of Mice! We could all have pet snakes.... I was thinking about the hungry cats as a solution, but once the mice are gone one could drop the snake out along the road somewhere... or make shoes!
