RVillage: New Online Community

Just discovered a new online community called RVillage - RVillage - Landing Page

I'm not sure how long they've been around but it's in Beta so it's pretty new. I went ahead and signed up as I really like the social potential, especially when you're on the road. There are many sub-groups for specific interests. About 10,000 members at the moment - 80 or so in the Airstream Group.

It has advertising but I didn't see any cost for members. I suppose that could change as they mature.

Worth a look. I have no affiliation other than as a member.

Cheers,
John

John&Vicki - any updates on RVillage? I recently became aware of RVillage but haven't signed up yet. I watched a few tutorials on YouTube to better understand features included in the app/web site. Has the Airstream group grown?

Other than John&Vicki are there any Air Forums members using RVillage? What do you think?

Wondering if you have any further feedback?

Thanks,

Not much activity on this thread but I'd sure like to hear from users of RVillage about their experience.

As an example, my sister in law recently traveled by herself in an RV and may have benefitted from a tool such as RVillage.

I've refrained from joining at this point not knowing how well received RVillage has been. If anyone has useful comments, tips, etc. that would be helpful.

We received an email from WBCCI promoting this yesterday afternoon. .. It seemed a little strange to get something like this under the WBCCI name so I put it aside to look into later. No real reason to be suspicious I guess but it didn't feel quite right somehow

I am a member as of today of the RVillage hope it turns out to have some benefits if not I will drop it. I really enjoy Air Forums and it is very helpful for working on our 67 Ambassador. Please don't think the other is a replacement for Air Forums, it's not. I think it is an option to see other friends we have meet along the way.

After joining last Spring I've noticed more activity as of late. It's membership is approaching 45k and there are many groups to join if interested. The groups zero in on different interesting areas like Loaners on Wheels, guns, different RV types and just about anything you can think of. I have found no negetives!

I joined today but don't know my way around the web site yet. There's probably a smart phone app too so I guess I'll load that. I like the idea of seeing where people (members) are at any given time but not sure I want to update my status/location regularly. I'll check it out from time to time and see where it gets me.

When I first joined Air Forums I wasn't quite sure what to do with all the information. Guess I'm experiencing the "old dog new tricks" syndrome.

Check out the site. You will see that WBCCI is a paid advertiser just like they are here. I signed up. Looks safe enough to me unlike some of the suspicious pop ups and spam I get related to this site.
