new to your community

i have the misfortune of getting a 65 caravel after my inlaws passed away.
(not getting the trailer, but their passing).

i got into the trailer and to my surprise. it is in real good shape. all original.

need a few parts, but so far i look like i can get everything..

it is really nice to see something so well made and in such good shape

now to figure out what to do with it. i only got a caraven to tow with.

anyway this is a great site to gather information and hopefully be able to

get answers i my come across while cleaning and working on this trailer..

Hi Paul, welcome. Please accept my condolences on the passing of your inlaws, but I bet they would be pleased to know their Caravel is in good hands. Good luck and be sure to post some pictures of your new acquisition!

Welcome to the forums. There are many here who have inherited their Airstream and those who are waiting. I have a son and a daughter and only one Airstream, when I die they will draw straws to see who gets it.

Welcome to the forums!

We are sorry for the loss of your in-laws, accept our condolences. But, we are happy for your acquisition! 65 Caravel is wonderful! When you have specific questions, ask away, you will receive answers! In the meantime when looking for information, try the search tool on the blue toolbar at the top of the page. Type in a term like "65 Caravel" and you will find threads that have that term referenced. You might have to do a little reading to find the specific information you are looking for, but it will be interesting!

Have a happy Thanksgiving!
