newbie solo air streamer

Hi, I am searching for a used Air stream (20'-23'). I could sure use some advice on buying an airstream, where to look, and what to look for, and advise on the rv life. Thanks, Nicole:

Welcome to the forum nicole.b. Rent a trailer to see if that's the direction you want to go. Try Craigslist for local used searches. Good deals go fast and cash is king with private parties. Colonial Airstream has few used trailers with financing. The hunt is half the fun, so don't rush it. The more you look the better educated you are. Bring a friend to help you inspect the trailer. Make sure everything works. Good luck and happy hunting. Watch Yosemite II on You Tube... that's why I R.V.

Nicole you are at the right spot, read, read and then read some more. By the time you find one you'll be well informed on what to look for, what to ask and what it's going to take to make it serviceable. Enjoy

Hi everybody. Well I pulled the trigger and bought the 23D flying cloud. It is just the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I can't believe I did it, but I am so excited to get going. I love the layout, and the bed is much more comfortable then mine at home. thanks for all you help.

Outstanding!

We bought a used 25' a few years back thinking we would try out traveling and "camping." We loved it so much we just upgraded to a new 2015 28' international.

The first thing we learned was that there are no strangers in a RV park! You'll find plenty of company and friendly people, may be even moreso than at home!

We're in Olympic NP Memorial Day weekend if you're looking for a great place to go.

Enjoy!

Congrats, Nicole. You're ahead of me re: " the learning curve". I'll be in your spot early April. Now, it's full on excitement and anticipation!
