Looking at possibly purchasing a 28ft Excella classic. I have found some documentation that says the GVWR is 8200lbs. The UVW is 6850lbs. My tow vehicle can handle 8350lbs. Which number do I pay attention to, the GVWR or the UVW. Obviously if it is the GVWR we will have to pass. Too close to my vehicle limit.
Also, it has factory designs on it. Has anyone ever been able to remove those?
The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is the heaviest the trailer can weigh. The UVW is what it weighed off the factory floor with no fluids, no fuel. The difference is the "payload" of the trailer (1350#).
