Yet another Craiglist scammer
One more scumbag replying to inquiries as "Virginia Hennessey."
Listed the trailer as being in San Angelo, TX... with the window-unit AC and the pics looking like it has been stationary with a covered "porch" built against it, the $3200 didn't seem out of line, but the email response about "I'm out of town and may stay here for a while, but it's no problem because I'll sell through VTS services" just made me want to crawl through the wire and deal with "Ms. Hennessey" appropriately.
I flagged it as "Prohibited."

Too good to be true?
Here is one from the Tucson craigslist that I suspect is a scam:

scam
And in Virginia. The bad part is we forwarded it to someone else. The good part is that it seemed too good to be true and made me second guess my purchase. I'm glad that my deal is still a deal.

filthy scammers... I searched on the email address that's on those "Vintage Travel Trailer Globetrotter" ads using SearchTempest with a 3000-mile radius from DFW. I found the same listing on: LA, NYC, Seattle, Columbia SC, Buffalo, Charleston, Chicago, San Diego, Baltimore, Dallas, Boston, Syracuse, Milwaukee, Atlanta and Denver.

Well that takes the cake. Why not Minneapolis? Aren't we as big as Milwaukee? And we're closer to DFW that Charleston and Syracuse.

Heh... Not to be overly-serious in response to your tongue-in-cheek reply, but in my deep cynicism I'd guess their partner-scammer may have put it in a bunch of other markets under a different email address. Surely they wouldn't overlook the possibility of there being gullible marks in the Twin Cities.

Oh yeah - scammer alright - I responded to the ad when it first came up.... just had this in this am....
Hi again,
The travel trailer is at the shipping company in Saint Louis MO sealed and ready for shipping along with all its documents including title, owner's manual and bill of sale. I have a contract with eBay so this deal must go through them. According with eBay you have 5 days from the time you receive the trailer to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not. Here is how it will work:
First of all, I will need the following details from you: your complete name and full shipping address. After I have received these details from you, I will forward them to eBay. After they will process your info, they will send both of us the invoices for this sale. On the invoice you will find all the instructions on how to complete this transaction. eBay will contact me and I will deliver the camper to your location. After you receive the camper you will have 5 days to test it, verify and do whatever you want with it. If you are going buy it, then I will receive the payment details from eBay so that I can be paid for this sale.
If you decide that you won't buy the travel trailer, eBay will refund the money and I will have the shipping company come pick up my trailer and all shipping fees will be paid by me. If you wish to make the transaction, please send me the necessary info so that we can proceed.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Hmmmm. Interesting how actually logging into eBay seems to play no part in this deal.
They must be assuming that their marks have never bought off eBay before.
I guess it's easier to forge emails from eBay than to fake a website that one has to log into.

I haven't yet heard back from this seller, but I'm pretty sure it's a scam. 2004 Bambi for $2990, listed in multiple markets, with the same gmail address (marina.moore1975@gmail.com) and no craigslist email forward, you have to email the gmail addr.
The post had already been flagged in a couple of markets.
