What type of Sovereign?

Over the July 4th week end we visited Ft. Wilderness campground at Walt Disney World. Great campground by the way. While there we saw quiet a number of Airstreams. Some vintage and some new and some in between. As we were driving out on July 3rd, we saw a Soveirgn coming into the entrance that was mid-80's by my guess and probably 25-28 ft in length that had the wrap around windows at both ends. I recently saw a photo of a similar unit, but this is the first one I have seen in person. Anybody know anything about this year model and any details? It was being towed by a female driver (on a cell phone) driving a white or silver Toyota SUV I think. I paid more attention to the Airstream. Was that anyone on the Forums?

Generally, the rear-wrap windows are in coaches with rear bedrooms.

Okay, okay! The rear-wrap windows were an extra-cost option generally available on coaches with rear bedrooms.

I scanned around and found an interior photo of an Argosy 30 (?) with a rear bedroom, and wrap windows. I even think the photo is from a forum member. If it is yours, let me know so I can give you credit:

The windows were definately the full wrap style of the later and current Airstreams that were introduced through the Argosy line. I am sure it was an '80's model or later. It had a wide blue line down the side and large contemporary letters that read "sovereign" on the side.

I have located the photos I saw through another post and have attached below. This is not the Airstream I saw, but was surprised to see one on the road after seeing these photos just a week or so earlier. The one I saw didn't have the aluminum wheels though. It had steel wheel covers.

It looks just like my '86 25' Sovereign with added wrap around rear window.

Met some nice Texas unit folks this past weekend at Ft. Davis who had the wrap around rear windows on their '98 34' Excella. I was sure admiring 'em!

'85 sovereign 25'

My '85 Sovereign 25' has wrap around windows front and rear. I haven't seen any others but there aren't many Airstreams in my neck of the woods.
