Smile Safari Tim's TV....

Alright I'm at it again.

OK, I got the Kings of the Road for you guys on my website.

Actualy unless I am mistaken, this aired a couple of months ago under the name Secrets of RVing. I had recorded it back then.

Anyway, I posted the Airstream portion of the show.

I also posted the Airstream segment from Wheel Estate which aired on the History Channel a few months back.

I did these at a higher bitrate which means they will look best with a broadband connection. I just found the small bitrate stuff for dial up was barely worth watching. And I still only have dial up

Enjoy.

Keep it up Tim.
I enjoy seeing these clips you post.

Bummer....

I tried it out at home and work and they seemed to work. Although I only have a dial up connection at both places so it's slow for me.

Only other thing is you may need the real one player, instead of the real player if you have not upgraded in a while.

But I will check into it. See whats going on.

It worked great for me. I've got DSL and RealOne Player.

The Wheel Estate was great. Thanks for putting that on.

Unhappy I feel Safari Tim's plight

I've got all the latest tools for recording, editing, viewing, posting movies, and burning DVDs but also have dial up service. It's a bummer with that limitation.

Some of Safari Tiim's very short recordings work fine with dial up. The longer ones need to continuously update and get choppy.

As they come up on TV in the future I will try recording to EyeTV and then converting them to Quicktime. As a test, I recorded with EyeTV "Yule Log" for 16 minutes that was an all day fire with Christmas music on one of the local independent TV stations. The 16 minutes converted to 162 mb in Quicktime. That is too big for us dial up types to upload or download.

Thumbs down Dial up is a real bummer

I keep checking for broadband in my area and it still has not arrived

I could make the videos streamable for dialups but the quality gets so blocky and the size gets so small its hardly worth it.

If you guys want the smaller formats let me know.
