Thumbs up Movie: The Long, Long Trailer

Found a copy of "The Long, Long Trailer" in Forest Lake, Minn.
Starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz (1954). What a stitch! Good holiday movie.

Lakes Video, 708 So. Lake St., Forest Lake, Minn. 651-464-8965

Info on this movie can be found at The Internet Movie Database:
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0047191/

Would be interested in finding any other Twin Cities (Minn.) trailer movies, especially Airstream, of course.

Thumbs up Very Funny Movie!

Petunia and I howled our way through that classic.

Interesting trivia .... The Long, Long, Trailer was the highest grossing Comedy film at that time.

Two pig's feet up!

Found that movie while browsing a used book store of all places, keep it in the motorhome and pass it out at rallies for the people who have not seen it. What gets me is when they pulled into that trailer park and the attendent actually parked thier trailer... wonder if that really happened back then ?

Movie: The Long, Long Trailer

The Long, Long, Trailer is one of my all-time favorites, and I carry a copy on VHS in each of my trailers - - it is my tradition to have it playing during the Vintage Open House at Rallys. I have managed to collect copies of the movie on VHS, BETA, and Laser Disc formats - - I am hoping that it will one day be re-released on DVD.

The attendant parking isn't a thing of the past. I have stayed at two parks (in the last five years) where the parking was done by a park employee at the RV owner's discretion. I know that I truly appreciated the service as I am not particularly fond of back-in sites and both of the parks in question had only very tight back-in spaces. There was no additional charge for this service, and it seemed that most were taking advantage of the service. Both parks were private, and did absolutely no advertising - - learned of both via word of mouth, and both were in a "gated" environment.

we also loved that film, its hysterical.
The dvd is not available, and the vhs was out of print and cost quite a lot as a "collectible", however it is now for sale again, and I just got it on Amazon for 12 bucks. A classic comedy
