Little effect on the retired.

Hi, personally I never liked the time change, but we had no choice. They say there are some benefits, but all of those have been offset be something else. Part of the year, I told people my hours of work were from dark to dark. [instead of eight to five] When I went to work it was dark out and when I left work to go home it was dark again. [thus "dark to dark"] And when the daylight hours were longer, I had to drive East to work in the morning with Sun glareing in my face and West on my way home also with the Sun glareing in my face.

Now I'm retired and don't have to deal with it anymore. I will still change all 47 of my clocks, timers, and electronic items, but I can come and go as I please and if the Sun is in my eyes I can change directions, or time of the day, or night, when I drive. [or stay home]
